Prosus Strikes Major AI and Cloud Pact with AWS to Accelerate Growth

Prosus, the Netherlands-based global tech group, has entered a multi-year agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to consolidate its cloud and AI contracts into a single strategic partnership. The deal, valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars, aims to optimize Prosus's contract management processes and drive substantial cost savings. Igor Cardoso, Head of Prosus Ecosystem, emphasized the transformative potential of this collaboration while withholding specific financial details.

The company is aggressively reorganizing its operations under CEO Fabricio Bloisi to focus on key markets in Europe, India, and Latin America. With ambitions to double its value by 2028, Prosus is prioritizing AI capability upgrades across these regions. Cardoso revealed immediate plans to deploy large commerce models throughout Latin America, building on existing operations like iFood, Despegar, and OLX.
